European Championships HPB in Wackersdorf/Bavaria, 21.-23. July 2006

 

Dear Heavy Duty Water Pilots!

 

It was so nice last year - and it shall be nice this year again! We will go to Wackersdorf another time.

 

In Wackersdorf-Rauberweiherhaus, in the south east of Germany, there is a lake called “Murner See”. The terrain is nice: Best water quality, a small amphitheatre open to the lake where spectators can sit and watch the races. For camping we have a place beside it, close to the water. We may go there with tents, boats, caravans and cars, but not drive cross. We have very good toilets nearby in a real building and hot showers 5 min from there.

 

This year there is no big party, so it will be as calm as last year;-) . The European Championships will be more like a meeting of waterbikers, with spectators perhaps like last year, but not a big event. You can sleep in a tent betwenn the boats or you can go to the “Campingpark Murner See” www.see-camping.de. It is 300m from the amphitheatre.

 

The starting fee includes: camping (near the amphitheatre), parking, participation in the races, 2x breakfast, 2x lunch, 2x dinner. But we have no drinks for free this year, so you better bring them with you or buy them in the supermarket in Wackersdorf. The Starting fee is per person € 25,- for HPV-Members. Every participant has to become member which it is cheap (students € 20, employed adults € 30). For example this means that a normal student who is not yet a member of HPV Deutschland e.V. has to pay € 45,- including all! Of course, you have to bring tents and dishes as usual.
